Here's a little bit about me in reverse chronological order.
2014 - Present. I work at FiftyThree, where I'm a designer and prototyper working on Paper by FiftyThree.
2011 - 2014. I worked at Apple, where I was the interaction design lead for the Charts component of the iWork (Pages, Keynote, and Number) suite, and I did design prototyping for iWork and iBooks.
2011. Graduated from the MFA in Interaction Design program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I was part of the inaugural class in the program.
2010. I interned at Local Projects where I developed Explore 9/11 for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
2009. I left San Francisco and moved back east to New York City for grad school at the School of Visual Arts.
2008. I worked as one of the first twelve software engineers working full time on applications for the iPad.
2005. I moved across the country to work for Apple as a software engineer on iChat and Photo Booth.
2004. Went to work for Xerox in Rochester, NY. I worked on support software for high-end (120+ ppm) production printers. This used to be called DocuSP Remote Services, but has since been renamed to prInteract.
2004. Graduated from RPI with a dual major in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication and Computer Science.
2003. I used to serve as the Director of Community Architecture for the now-defunct Agora Studios, a start-up that I co-founded in July 2003. Agora Studios was born out of incubator.com, an also-defunct project sponsored by RPI and Deutsche Bank.
2000. Graduated from the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science.
1982. Born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts.
