iPad

Date: Spring 2009
Type: Professional Project
Employer: Apple
Application: iPad 1.0
My Role: Software Engineer

Summary

In October 2008, I started working as one of the first software engineers to focus full time on Apple's iPad. At the time, the details for the iPad hardware and software weren't yet finalized. My job was to work with Apple's design team to build testable versions of the core applications using Cocoa Touch. Specifically, I worked to prototype new versions of YouTube and the Media Player framework.

I left the project in May of 2009, before iPad was announced, to move to New York City for graduate school.
